Anita is a German typeface designer who creates retail fonts. She did many things before finding her ultimate passion for curves and corners. She was trained as a forwarding merchant and then as a media designer. She designed magazines and corporate identities and worked in software marketing and advertising. Whenever she thinks of her working life, she remembers being pushed on to do something else, but she never knew what that thing might be. Then she decided to go back to university to study graphic design and fell in love with alphabets on a trip to Korea. Back at home she created her Latin-Korean graduation project “Hangulatin” which was awarded by the Art Directors Club in Germany. After that, she worked five years for an established type foundry and now she is here for you – all day in the creation of retail fonts.
