Graphique Pro was originally created by the famous Swiss designer Hermann Eidenbenz in 1945, and issued as hot metal font by the famous Haas Type Foundry , Switzerland. German type designer Ralph M. Unger digitally remastered and expanded the typeface. Unger, after many years working as an advertising setter on Linotype machines, photosetting stations, and with the Mac in various print shops, he established his own studio in 1995. What started as a hobby, the digitization of fonts, has become his major field of occupation. Today he is a free partner of URW++.
