Carmen Display Regular
Carmen Display Italic
Carmen Display is a title version of the Carmen typeface. In 2010 Andreu received an order from Victoria's Secret to use this type of communication for his brand and products.
Carmen Display is a very pronounced contrast typography. It includes refined ligatures and ornamental shapes that complete a set of characters filled with sinuous shapes. Carmen Display likes to like, she shows great self-confidence and is visible in the crowd. The delicacy and subtlety of its fine strokes find the perfect counterweight in the terminations in drop letters such as "a" or "f".
The italics, with a pronounced inclination, also include several alternative characters with ornamental endings. These alternatives extend the typographic palette and allow you to play with decorative shapes to embellish the composition. It is in italics that Carmen Display is most daring, displaying her imposing beauty.
Review by Christian Palino in Typographica
A beautiful Roma woman, murderous jealousy, a Basque hidalgo, fortune telling, knife fights, sexual persuasion, the occult. Carmen is full of tension and surprise while traveling a well-worn road that reaches from Spain through France and into Italy.
