Carmen Fiesta Regular
Inspired by the ornamental typography for 19th-century posters, Carmen Fiesta is a title version of Carmen. The arabesques found in Andalusian courtyards have also been a source of inspiration for the design of ornamental forms. Bifurcated auctions with looped endings turn your capital letters into a real visual feast. In the case of the tiny ones, the decorative elements are much more restrained, although from their antlers also arise vegetable forms that maintain the game in the contours. Its appearance takes us to the festive atmosphere of the shows that announced their performances with colorful posters and headlines that attracted attention for the size and shape of their characters.
It includes an alternative set of capital letters and numbers with decorative elements in their lines, as well as ornamental shapes and flourishes, which serve as a complement to the typographic composition.
Review by Christian Palino in Typographica
A beautiful Roma woman, murderous jealousy, a Basque hidalgo, fortune telling, knife fights, sexual persuasion, the occult. Carmen is full of tension and surprise while traveling a well-worn road that reaches from Spain through France and into Italy.
